Welcome to the church planting website of Tokyo Multicultural Church!

Imagine an evangelical church coming to the east side of Tokyo in the fall of 2011, consisting of…

• multiple multicultural, multi-language congregations (starting with at least English and Japanese language congregations, and adding languages such as Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese), Tagalog, and Portuguese) as soon as possible,
• each congregation worshiping and ministering in its own language with its own pastoral and/or lay leadership,
• all congregations served by one all-church leadership team,
• and all congregations and leaders united as one church in Jesus Christ in order to display the rich variety of God's wisdom.

This is the kind of church planting project described here.
