TMC leadership discussion is open to regular attenders, but key decisions are made by members. Eventually, an all-church leadership team will be selected from among the members.

As TMC adds language-specific departments, each will have its own leadership team that operates in its own language. However, English will be the language of the all-church leadership team.

Motomichi (Moto) Harada

Moto joined TMC's Japanese Department in April 2019. Raised in a typical non-Christian Japanese family in Kochi, he grew up as a physics-loving atheist. Yet he came to know Christ when he was studying in the USA. After finishing his study there, he worked for an IT company in Japan. But he decided to become a pastor and went to Singapore Bible College for his theological studies. As a "returnee" himself who became a Christian abroad and returned to Japan, he is passionate about helping returnees remain in Christ and grow as Christians in Japan. His wife, Naoko, grew up in a Christian family in Japan, and studied puppet theater in the Czech Republic. They have one son.
